A saxophone, piano and composition instructor, Javier Esteban was born in Camaguey, Cuba on July 8th, 1987. Professor Esteban began his musical career at the age of 10. Since then he has performed throughout all of Cuba. He completed his musical studies at the ”Instituto Superior de Arte” (ISA) in Cuba in 2010, with a degree in music and Chamber music in Piano and Saxophone.
As a music professor at the “Conservatory of Music" in Camaguey and the “Superior Institute of Art” in Cuba, Professor Esteban was an integral part of groups such as "Waldo Mendoza", "Bamboleo", "NG la Banda" and "Habana Sax", performing in multiple television shows, theaters and festivals throughout Cuba, Panama, Barbados, Trinidad and Tobago, France, Germany and United States, eventually moving to the latter in 2013 where he has continued his musical career.
Professor Esteban has performed with artists such as Gavin DeGraw, Nick Jonas, Prince Royce and Julio Iglesias Jr. He currently resides in Broward and performs with the band "BG Live". He has also performed with “Habana Sax” in events such as: The 2010 and 2012 World Music Panama in Panama City; The 2011 Montpellier Jazz Festival in France; The 2012 Dusseldorf Jazz Festival in Germany; the 2013 Concerts at the Grand Opera House in Delaware; The 2013 Egg Theater concert in New York; The 2014 Clifford Brown Jazz Festival in Delaware, the 2015 Miss Universe opening show in Miami with "Lalineaband"; the 2016 Flamenco Festival in New Mexico, and the 2017 ULTRA Festival in Florida.
