Rita Rosa was born in Cuba and holds a degree in Choral conducting from National School of Arts in Havana, Cuba. When she arrived in the USA, she registered in some courses related to education at Miami Dade College. She has been dedicated to investigation, education musical composition and literacy for children. With her music and books, she has impacted around 10000 children from Cuba, Mexico, Bolivia, Germany, Sweden, Puerto Rico and USA. During her career, she has had the great experience of doing voiceover and vocal backups for many artists, such as Celia Cruz, Ricky Martin among others. She has been working for Univision broadcasting for many years, having the opportunity to get close to many artists and producers. At the same time, she has worked every day as an educator in private schools and conservatories.
As a recording artist, she holds 4 Latin Grammy nominations and the Cubadiscos International Award for her albums with folk Hispanic songs and original songs.
As an author, she has published 3 books with Scholastic INC. Two of them are songbooks while one is an original story-song illustrated. Her awards for publishing works are one honorable mention and one first place award at the International Latino Book Awards. She is the conductor of the West Miami Children's Choir and a producer for Los Grandes Amigos project.
Nowadays, she has been writing and producing content focused on bilingual children. Her music has a genuine message full of Afro-Caribbean's rhythm.
